ERS is increasing the frequency of its maritime shuttles between Rotterdam and Nürnberg from 3 to 4 roundtrips a week. The first additional roundtrip will start loading on 17 February.
With this increase in frequency, ERS is able to connect all deep-sea container terminals on the Maasvlakte directly with the Tricon terminal in Nuremberg. Each train has a capacity of 100 TEU. The trains are produced in cooperation with EGS.
In addition to linking the deep-sea ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven with the German hinterland, ERS Railways connects the port of Rotterdam with southern Germany with 9 roundtrips per week.
